SPECIALISTS SHARE KNOWLEDGE OVER MEDICAL EDUCATION AT SGRR MEDICAL COLLEGE
Dehradun. The Medical Education Unit (M.E.U.) of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences has organized a Three Days Basic Course in Medical Education. This Basic Course in Medical Education has been organized from 29th August to 31st August 2024 in which specialists are sharing knowledge about the ultra modern dimensions of Medical Education. The main topic of the B.C.M.E. is to discuss and dissipate knowledge on the contemporary subjects of the goals, learning objectives, competencies, dimensions in Basic Course of Medical Education.
The programme was begun by Shri Guru Ram Rai Medical Colleges’ Principal Dr. Ashok Nayak, Vice Principal & Co-ordinator of Medical Education Unit Dr. Puneet Ohri, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Utkarsh Sharma, Medical Superintendent Dr. Ajay Pandita and National Medical Commission’s observer Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences’s Dr. Alpa Gupta by Lime lighting jointly.
Dr. Puneet Ohri welcomed all the participants and introduces them with the programme schedule. Principal, SGRR Medical College, Dr. Ashok Nayak said that the basic objective of this B.C.M.E. is to acquaint the faculty members with the ultra modern and popular models of Medical Education. He said that the faculties by trained through such programmes will be able to make the medical students knowledgeable and ideal doctors motivating them to serve the country and society.
In the programme, Obs. & Gyn specialist Dr. Anjali Choudhary highlighted the informations about the goals and objectives of Medical Education. Radiologist Dr. Rajender Kumar Srivastava and Dr. Puneet Ohri explained Teaching Learning methods including Interactive Large Group and Small Group methods. Dr. Megha Luthra threw light over Principles, types and utility of Assessment.
In the programme, Dr. Alok V. Mathur, Dr. Manali, Dr. Robina Makker and Dr. Sulekha Nautiyal also gave lectures over significant aspects of Medical education. All the participants were also provided with Certificates for Participation in the programme.
